I can't format it - it's the only source of the data. I'm looking for ideas of trying to fix it either in another process (Spinrite, clone onto another drive, something else(?)) or maybe update the raid driver to get a new RST version on the mobo.
I've got a failed Raid1 array with:
one drive dead (offline member)
and the other shows "Error Occurred(0)".
What are my options for resurrecting this array using the one drive that spins? This PC is old and using Intel RST 3.6.0. Also, this is the OS array.
The drive that does spin passes...
At X% you start using swap drive. I've seen this happen though with my RAM usage well below 80% so there must be a point where Windows starts to use swap and it doesn't seem to be exactly at the moment when available RAM hits zero.
What's your rule of thumb for how much RAM should be available to Windows under a normal daily load? In other words, at 5pm when you have all of your browser tabs open, all of your other programs running, and you open Task Manager, what should you see in the RAM usage to be comfortable that you...
so this is a bad idea?
$query = "SELECT COUNT(`id`)
from j17_cbsubs_subscriptions
WHERE id!=62
and id !=299
and expiry_date < '{$curr_yr}-12-31 23:59:58'
AND status='A'";
I need to include a variable inside a string in a SQL query, but something isn't right.
This is the variable:
$curr_yr = date('Y') ;
and I need it to replace the "2015" in the following query:
$query = "SELECT COUNT(`id`)
from j17_cbsubs_subscriptions
WHERE id!=62
and id !=299...
Issue with releasing IP was that I had to click apply 2x after setting to "No IP". After that the SW picked up the FIOS IP without a problem. After setting the LAN range to default 192.168.1.2-254 and setting up my wireless to same as last router, everything worked perfectly.
Going to go into the office today (closed) and see if I can get it working. I might clone MAC and DNS but not sure why I'd need to. I may just need to wait the 2 hours for the SW to get the new IP. I'll chat with Verizon if that doesn't work. Right now I set up the SW unit to use openDNS IPs...
I released the IP but could not get the SW to pick up one from Verizon. Does the Actiontec immediately try to obtain a new IP after you click "Release"? I tried to save the "No IP" setting quickly but I think it just got a new one right when I released which means I couldn't get another one...
Just using internet through ONT which is why they already had the ethernet enabled. I can't have a 2 hour down time so I'm going to release IP, set it to "No IP", save then replace routers after I set the network to DHCP on SW. will do it this afternoon when staff leaves. I also have to set...
anyone tell me how to ensure the Sonicwall is set to grab an IP from Verizon before I release my FIOS router's IP?
I see 2 places where I can set the WAN IP on the Sonicwall - "Network" and "DHCP Server".
In Network area, WAN is set to Static - I'd have to set that to DHCP I assume.
In...
turns out I was already running off of the ethernet from ONT since we have no cable. I was instructed to simply release IP and then set it to "No IP" and save. then replace old router with sonicwall. should be easy - we'll see. thanks
