I had the same problem, (see previous page) flash your bios to 1.1 from a floppy, don't use the windows util, Power down, disconnect all power to the board and clear the CMOS. If you save your profiles (F6) before you do it, you wont have to go through any setting up again afterwards, you can...

I have tried many settings now but 2.5-3-3-7-1T is stable and slightly better than 3-3-8. I did manage to get it to boot @ 2-3-3-7 and 2.3.3.8 but was not stable even when I increased the voltage. So I have ended up with 3500+ Winchester @ 231 giving 2544MHz (1.475 Vcore, will try to reduce...

Ok, I am now running at FSB 231 giving 2544, ram is set to 2.5-3-3-7-1T as it appears to be better than at 2.5-3-3-6-1T. I cannot even get it to post at 2.5-2-2-6-1T. Will complete some long Prime95 test tomorrow.. Once again thanks. Must go to bed its 2am!.....Bloody computers, I will be in...

Thanks for the advice. I have fixed the problem with the stepping in Cool n Quiet, had to flah the BIOS again. I have been trying different settings all day and have come to the conclusion that my chip maxes out at about 2556, FSB 232, though I still have to do a long Prime95 test. Thanks...

4xLDT is that the multiplier? The best I can manage at the moment is 231 x 11 = 2544MHz (1.475 Core voltage) a 16% increase. definitely a boost, but was hoping for a little more. I have heard that the 3500 winnie is maxed out at about 2500. If I drop the multiplier to 10 It seems to stick at...

Yes sorry, I only uninstalled the uguru clock doh! I have uninstalled it all now, it will never darken my door again. Thanks for your help furballi it is much appreciated, I Have been building my own systems for years but never tried a serious overclock, I will try not to be so much of a noob...

OK Yes, I did save the settings, I whish it was so simple. When I go into the bios screen everything shows correctly, but not on post, or in CPUz (which I have re-downloaded). I have set my external clock to 200 (not 204 the default) and multiplier x 11 I did not have Cool n Quiet...

Ok, I have removed uguru clock I have re-flashed the bios 1.1 cleared CMOS but no matter what I do with the fsb it still show as 204Mhz in post and CPU-Z (ver 1.29)
