New PC Time - or upgrade?

Mainly games like Crysis, cod 4, and suprisingly oblivion at a few points :P Its actually a 1920x1080 Dell lol, can't complain though, I got it for $360 NZ new ($200 US) and I got a $200NZ (~$130US) 3-in-1 printer free. The 1gb 4870 is about $300 afaik

Anyone here have/used a Dell S2409W 24" Monitor?

Leadtek 8800GT ZL cooling queries

Hey blazer, Just recently I bought the Leadtek 8800GT ZL video card. The card idles at about 45C and is between 55 - 59C at full load, it is very cool and quiet. Most websites don't mention that it is mildly overclocked so don't forget about that when looking at the price. The card scores...

Just bought a Samsung 226BW and am very unimpressed

I've just started getting another issue which I'm sure is either the monitor or video card. I get a flashing yellow/orange line on one of the sides of the monitor when using the maximum resolution. Tried 2 games so far and it happens in both - its driving me nuts.

Just bought a Samsung 226BW and am very unimpressed

It was definately a 226bw, it was the main reason I went to the cafe. It did seem to have better viewing angles as none of the screen brightened/darkened while looking at it straight on while on this one the bottom is a bit brighter and the top is a bit darker when looking at it straight on...

Just bought a Samsung 226BW and am very unimpressed

I tried the magic bright setting on internet, it fixed the brightness but completely and utterly killed every single colour - it basically just put the brightness on 10. I tried the C profile and it still looks like ass.

The shop I bought from has been good to me so far, always has good prices, friendly and everything. I'm just worried that if I send it for an RMA that the person who looks at the faults thinks its fine because he/she has gone through a lot of cheaper panels with similar problems. Then I'll end...

Here in New Zealand there really isn't a return policy unless the product is faulty (which they can just say since these things may be 'minor' to them). I can however pay a 10% restocking fee which I think is unfair.
