I am having the exact same issue. I believe the solution (which I am going to try tonight) is to unplug the IDE drives and run Vista's boot repair from the installation CD. The Vista setup will install the boot loader to your IDE drive's MBR even when you choose the SATA drive, so if you remove...
So if my contract ends May 2006, does this mean I can cancel my existing Verizon wireless account in 2 months and immediately re-sign up with Verizon to get a nicer phone earlier?
It depends though, it only improves things on some lcd's, not all. In fact, most new LCD's don't need ClearType and using it actually makes readability worse. DVI is the best solution ;)
i got my friend to order one. it was shipped yesterday, here's to hoping it'll actually arrive undamaged. after that we'll hound the rebate center to make sure it comes back.
IMHO this might not be such a good deal unless you already have a PCI video card. I don't see an AGP slot on the picture of the board nor do I see "integrated video" in the specs. PCI vid cards are kind of expensive (supply & demand) so if you don't already have a PCI card you'd probably be more...
I bought the 1901FP and got it last week. I really loved it but personally, the ghosting is just a little bit too much for me. When I play CS I can notice people trailing a little bit when they run in front of me. Also, when I move my view around, everything blurs a bit (more so than other...
Got my 1901FP today, Dell did a good job getting it out really fast, since I ordered only 2 days ago. I tested out Die Another Day DVD real quick and I can notice some ghosting but it's definitely acceptable to me. I'm really going to enjoy the monitor, hope everyone else is getting theirs quick...

previous whistler thread
And I am not trying to flame, jokersmoker has brought us many great deals, but i am simply sharing my knowledge of the general topic of radar detectors and how well they work. And as far as I know...
Yes i can relate to that, but that's precisely the issue.. you don't need a detector for the daily commute, because then there are many other ppl on the road and you're not going to get a ticket for going the same speed as everyone else unless you decide drive like an asshole. As for knowing...
I understand your point, but that long post of mine in this thread was aimed at telling people that buying a $25 detector is simply wasting $25, police speed monitoring technologies have advanced greatly and at this point, a $25 detector will pretty much never save you even one ticket, because...
Even if these things are legal in your state, the cop will usually be in a pissy mood if he sees your car fitted with detectors/jammers ;) As for stealth installs:
InvisiMirror - For $400 these people fuse a V1 into the rearview mirror, as awesome as a V1 stealth install can get IMO.. They seem...
