does anyone know if Incd can read direct cd formated cd's? or has anyone downloaded the patch for ezcd successfully yet? and if so will you send it to me?

Has anyone downloaded the update for EZCD 5 to work under XP? Every time I try, it doesn't download anything. I need the XP_UP_platinum file. Anyone have it let me know please.

Retrieving files from FDISKed drive! HELP!

there are some programs that is supossed to recover you data from formated drives (not sure about fdisking though) norton's has a file recovery program in it. Have you tried it

Hewlett Packard Laptop Model N3250 Bios Password?? How do I reset?

I didn't have to pull the main battery. the only password I had forgotten was the one preventing you from getting into the bios. I new the other password to boot up so I used KillCmos to reset the bios back to default, in turn erasing the bios protect password.

Hewlett Packard Laptop Model N3250 Bios Password?? How do I reset?

I have that same laptop, and went thru the same problem. if you have the boot up password enabled, the only way to redo it is to pull the main battery and leave it unplugged for as long as 30 days. this is what HP told me. if you just have the bios password enabled and not the boot up password...

did you go to WD's website and look for a linux ver of EZ install?

if it doesn't detect it, enter it into the bios manually. but make sure you have the latest bios. if that doesn't work then you can use a program like maxblast for maxtor hd's. you'll have to partition it to use it all.
