Thanks for the feedback. I was figuring since the issues were similar that people might chime in. However, I was able to get several opinions elsewhere.

Backup entire system image for dummies?

I recently purchased a 2TB Seagate drive with intent to backup my two PCS. Both are running Win7 and the backup failed on both cases. The one is a 32bit image and I understand that for hard drives 2TB and larger that the Windows utility will fail. However, my primary is a 64bit Win7 image...

Again, I haven't played the game. But the way I read the review, it was only "More of the same" from a mechanics point of view. And it was "Larger" not because it needed to be, but because they wanted to be able to say it was larger. Imagine making a football field 10x the size...

I haven't played yet so this is speculation on my part. The Gamespot review says that although the mechanics are pretty much the same, they aren't as well executed. I.e. much larger areas but with little reason or need for that. Fight mechanics are as fluid but you end up doing it a lot more...

Wow, sounds like a lot of if's and's and quid-pro-quos that are ultimately summed (read LOCKED) up by this statement. maybe I am just jaded by all of the hoops that this game puts on you just to have what little bit of fun there is, but is it really going to be more fun with yet more locks...

I am making no statement what so ever except that I have seen companies use micro-transactions (in gaming and in other products) in ways that I do not find to my liking. I am making a decision for me and me alone. Maybe because I work in marketing, I know how some companies view consumers...

My point in a nutshell. Absolutely there is nothing wrong with enjoying Dark Souls for whatever reason. I too enjoy the game. But if i were looking for a Bioware style of RPG, Dark Souls is bound to disappoint me in that arena.
