Any better 2x 2GB DDR3 1600MHz or 1800Mhz RAM?

I opted for the the Super Talent 1800Mhz 4GB Kit myself. Was only $272 at my local shop.

Please help me determine my high ping problem

Now that I live in an apartment, should I set my wireless to WPA or just strong WEP?

WPA-WPA2 is far more secure however some older wireless devices or Win XP w/ SP1 or SP0 will have problems. Or just do what I do, boost your signal and run that sucker WIDE open. I share the love. Plus I have 26mb download bandwidth anyways so who cares? =P

I would try breaking the encryption on your other laptop and reconnecting just to double check your encryption key. Next I would uninstall, power off, then power back on laptop and reinstall drivers. At some point you could also try resetting the router just to make sure it's not a glitch...

I have seen some glitches in HP laptops where if you enable the wireless card via hardware switch from within windows it will give you the same error. It had to be on before loading windows. Also a restart wouldn't fix it but, only a cold boot. I doubt that's it but good luck! (PS: This...

How many computer are on your LAN? If names aren't working have you checked your host files? Can you ping your DNS server? Is your DNS server being specified as your routers gateway or your ISPs DNS server? If it won't let you beyond the router, do you have a policy set in the router to...

6400 vs 6600 gaming

FORGET SAVING THE MONEY!!! Buy the e6600!!! If you get the e6400 you will NOT be happy with it. The whole time you use it, in the back of your mind a little voice will always be saying you need that 2MB cache and extra clock, even if you are OCing. Besides unless you get a really good OC...

OC and a RAID messing with me!

That's pretty bizarre? Even 1Mhz OC??? So it tries to boot from a RAID or it's taking you into your RAID menu? Mike

Overclocking P5N32SLI SE Deluxe 2.6Ghz from e6400 1.25Vcore air.

It sux cause it's multiplier locked, it has only 2MB Cache, and it's not a x6800. Course it's better than the 3.2Ghz HT P4 w/ 1MB Cache I had to use for a week or so. =( THAT sucked. Mike P.S. I can't seem to get my corsair 1066Mhz above 1Ghz no matter what the settings are, IE...
