Help with GA-Z77M-D3H

I have two questions about this mobo (GA-Z77M-D3H) 1 : Does it come ready to use with an Ivy Bridge i5-3570k or do I need to update BIOS first with older CPUs? 2 : This memory G.SKill Ripjaws X 8GB (2x4GB) F3-12800CL9D-8GBXM works on it? On Gigabyte's website it is not listed in the supported...

Problem with 7870?

Guys thanks for the help, I was desperate but read a lot about it, The updated AMD Catalyst Driver (not the beta one) is having some issues some times with Unigine, I uninstalled it and installed the version that came with the VGA, now it gets AVG 45 FPS @ extreme settings. Problem solved...

GTX 660 vs AMD 7870

I have never owned an AMD video card but thanks to all of you, I will just get MSI 7950 for $274 (AR + shipping). Physx looks really great in batman, BL2, and Metro. I guess its the major reason some ppl go with NVidia instead of AMD, really cool stuff. But performance wise AMD rocks! ty all...

GTX 660 vs AMD 7870

Wow, rly 7950 for $260 rly a great deal, I still have 2 weeks to decide though, I'm still kinda fascinated with the physx effects which amd doesnt have. Gaming gets so realistic, too bad few game titles have physx, or am I wrong?

I will sell my gtx 460 as soon as I get hands on the new vga. The radeon does NOT have particle feature, or just not like nvidia does? I mean, looking at this picture, if its THAT different from physx and without it, I would go with nvidia, but I'm not sure if it works like that, the AMD card...

GTX 660 vs AMD 7870

I am currently with a gtx 460, want to upgrade to either gtx 660 or radeon 7870. I want a better gaming performance, I was going for 7870, but physx looks so cool. My card already has it. is it that different in all games or just some of them? (like borderlands)
