Linux: Changing a login pasword: In a browser

Hello peeps. i'm setting up a mail server with neomail1.25 on it, where i dont want people to have shell access. does anyone know of any browser scripts to change passwords? the only ones i have come across fail to work. TIA :)

jinxed PC cases

rolleyes all you want. this thing is jinxed so if i just hold hardware over the case it stops working. This is weird as hell. thinking case has got a mag field... lol anyway.

jinxed PC cases

Need advice QUICK... Anyone ever heard of a case stopping a box posting at all. I swapped a working p166 into a nice big rackmounted case, and it didn't even post. back into the old case, posts fine. Not the PSU, as i used the same one in both. Anyone ever heard of a case being jinxed? TIA

What is hotfix?

quite a few companies are now using the term 'hotfix' to mean a quick and small bug repair. They are often considered urgent. Microsoft use them, as does PGP. if you want microsoft ones, go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com and see if there are any you need in product updates. :)

Is 256MB enough for my needs?

yeah, no more than one more 128 stick, but 256 really should be ample for win2kpro. however, as you say, it's cheap right now. Think in terms of upgrade path tho... :)

well as i say it's been a while but.... --> control panel --> network properties --> install TCP/IP (in 'protocols') --> install file and printer sharing (in 'services') --> install Client for microsoft networks --> do on both systems Should work, if you're not connected to the internet. If...

Need help getting two pc's linked together.

Just installing File and Print Sharing and TCP/IP should give you network neighbourhood connection. Not done 2 comps for a while though. two computers can have IP addresses 192.168.x.x for a 'private' network between them.

x86 family?

x86 is the generic name for the instruction set, which is why both AMD and Intel (and others) chips can run the same software. Intel calls it's family IA-32 officially i think. But both Athlon and Intel p4 families are x86. :)
