u can't raid a SATA and PATA togehter... farther more.. if u use a converter.. the PATA drive would be limited to36.7.. and the raid 0 array would only be as fast as a pair of PATA in RAID 0

Come on guys... lets move on... =) I am a Dual Raptor myself... =) (36GB x 2) When I brought the drives, it was the 5 year warrenty and the data security that I was buyin it for.. I was sick and tired of all the problems of other drives... Although many would think it is a marketing grimmik...

Stock is fine.. The jet master sucks.. too loud.. The CFM is low too.. if the fan breaks.. big problem... 2 pennies

You need to go to Intel website to download the iaa_ich5r file. It unzips to a disk with the Correct SATA RAID Drivers.. THe onboard promise is only for PATA
