I love my DELL 2001fp..
loved them soo much.. replaced my 2 19in CRT with 1..
then again.. 2 19crt to another 2001fps
I ended up with 2 2001FP on my table and alot more space..
u can't raid a SATA and PATA togehter...
farther more.. if u use a converter.. the PATA drive would be limited to36.7.. and the raid 0 array would only be as fast as a pair of PATA in RAID 0
Come on guys... lets move on... =)
I am a Dual Raptor myself... =) (36GB x 2)
When I brought the drives, it was the 5 year warrenty and the data security that I was buyin it for..
I was sick and tired of all the problems of other drives...
Although many would think it is a marketing grimmik...
I read about half of the comments...
Both sides do have some good points..
For one.. I DO HAVE 4 X MAXTOR 160 IN RAID 0.. 4 x 80 dollars.. =) got 4 spare controller cards in April of 2003 =) (Storage file serving MIRC)
For Two.. I DO HAVE A PAIR of 36GB Raptors...
AND FINALY.. I DO HAVE the new...
I miss those days.. oo.. btw.. that still works..
sparco still has the 2.4 C.. but not the other chips.. I guess other already got to it =)
159.99 - (178-159.99)*1.10 -30coupon = 110..
hm.. that is cheaper..
yo GtPrOjEcTX, check my math.. is it 20 cheaper now?
You need to go to Intel website to download the iaa_ich5r file.
