yeah, actually, i had to go into control panel...click quicktime. and disable mpegs under "MIME TYPES" Thanks

How do I disable Quicktime from playing .mpg files in browser?

I have Avant, IE and Firefox and quicktime always plays the .mpg files i try to view inside a browser window, I would prefer this opens in an external windows media player but quicktime always gets to it. I have tried all the obvious options as far as file type associations. Does anyone have...

help: web browsing is slow

On my desktop, the web browsing experience randomly seems to crawl, and hang and i usually have to attempt to reload the page im trying to get to...and it then loads quickly. Is there any explanation for this? I am almost certain it isnt spyware as i have run both the latest versions of ad...

Audigy 2 ZS: Help needed getting sound into receiver

So I bought an Audigy 2 ZS yesterday, and I simply plugged it into a pci spot yesterday. Didnt need the CD audio or Joystick input extensions and cables(I hope its ok that i didnt plug anything else) I was able to get sound into my headphones which were plugged into one of the middle holes...

how about increasing mouse speed? I kinda get what you mean though. I dont feel the responsiveness is where i want it, but I dont know for sure. I still use my laptop more at home because the dell screen is quite hard to get used to

does anyone else find the text difficult to read at the native resolution of 1600 by 1200? What can i do about it? Increase DPI? or is there a setting with my video card that would make the text easier to read?

Tweaks, Software Or Driver Updates to Improve Performance?

Wow good stuff on that link, will definately spend some time there. Based on what i've read so far, I might attempt to flash my motherboard BIOS And maybe attempt to overclock my video card with coolbits(is it ok to do this without overclocking other components?)
