asus p4b266-c w/ 2.4ghz 1002 bios?

right now i have a 1.6 installed and want to switch out with a 2.4 my bios version is the original 1 it shipped with which is bios revision 1002 will this bios support the 2.4 or is bios update nessacery

kingmax'x ddr is some good stuff also i have mine running at max memory timing at 175mhz and its stable as hell

<< i think asus 2 (cusl2) is the correct setting according to many people on this forum. I would like the Asus 2 settings to be it but I guess it's too low. :) >> i agree it seem to low on asus 2

So I Built My Northwood + i845D System Last Night

i got mine up and running about a week ago and love it, cool quiet and fast and it increased my 3d mark 2k1 score from 9100 to 9400

when i setup mbm for this board should i be using asus 2 or asus (cusl2) for the cpu sensor ? when i use asus 2 my idle is about 27 to 28 which i think i way to low when i use asus cusl2 my idle temp is about 40 to 42 anyone know for sure
