BluRay player that I can stream to from computer?

That's disapointing. You'd think someone could come out with a bluray capable of streaming video... Thanks. Any other suggestions? I appreciate the help.

BluRay player that I can stream to from computer?

I'd like to be able to stream audio and video to a BluRay player in another room via ethernet. I'd also like the player to be able to connect to Netflix and Amazon for movies. Do you have any suggestions? I've looked around but have read mixed reviews. Thanks!

It's the RAID controller built into my DFI Lanparty P45 motherboard... I'll read the documentation for it and see what I can find. It's helpful to know there's at least a possibility. I hadn't thought about just making the drives separate, seems obvious now. Thanks, I'll probably just do...

Raid 1 to Raid 0?

I have 2 500gb drives setup in Raid 1 but no longer really need the redundancy and could use the extra 500gb. Can I go from raid 0 to raid 1 without having to start over? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

DVD playback problems

Thank you all for your replies. I downloaded ffdshow and the latest version of VLC and one of those two did the trick, although WMP still doesn't seem to want to play DVDs. I've also downloaded MPC-homecinema after all the recommendations and will be giving that a spin. It's great to be able...

DVD playback problems

I've never been able to play DVDs on my computer and now, without a TV, it's become a problem. I use VLC and upon opening the DVD it plays for a second or two, gives digital distortion for a couple seconds, plays for a second or two, more distortion, you get the idea. I've also tried the...

Possible to check an iPod hard drive for errors?

I've been looking for a disk checker utility that can check an iPod hard drive. My initial thought was Toshiba as they make the 5G Video hard drives, but Toshiba does not supply a disk utility. Any suggestions? Thanks, TKH

Need to securely wipe external hard drive. Suggestions?

Gigabit Routers + Wifi

Sounds like the router is automatically assigning IP addresses. If I'm not mistaken you can turn of the DHCP feature on the router and then manually assign IPs (i.e. open up network settings, your network card, TCP/IP settings, then assign an IP address).
