I'm not really worried about noise. Nothing can possibly be as loud at my POS emachines. (btw...not my fault for the emachine...that and the cat were all I got out of the divorce.) I have a very nice set of infinity speakers and can still hear that thing humming when I've got the speakers all...
Alright, from what I'm reading the 256mb version isn't as good at the 128. So, looks like I'm getting the eVGA 6600GT 128mb.
Thanks all for your input.
That is why I'm asking you all...cause I just don't know the reputations of these companies. Can't thank you enough.
So, unless I can find the BFG at a better price...I guess I'll be getting the eVGA. But what would be better the 128mb or 256mb or does it even matter?

Asus A8N-E NForce Ultra
Corsair 1GB XMS3200 Dual-Channel
I just want...

MechBgon thanks a ton for that link. I know it will help me. :D And of course thanks for answering my Q.
And you know, I've spent most of my night looking for...
Ok, I've learned a lot about for my first build from this forum and many other sources...but I still have a lot to learn yet. So far, I've decided to go with:
Athlon 64 3500+ Venice
Asus A8N-E NFUltra Mobo
XFX GForce 6200 w/ Turbo Cache
I figure I have some time yet to decide PSU,Case and...
