Amdk6II 450 oc with Epox mvp3g2

In order to get 2.6V out of this mobo you must put 2 jumpers on the voltage selector. If memory serves me right, put one on the 2.2 and the other on the 2.8 pins and this combo will give you 2.6 volts. If you are not sure check the voltage in your BIOS at boot up and this will confirm your new...

Trying to OC a 900 TBird on ABIT KT7-RAID...Clock multipier settings.

I believe that the L1 bridges are probably not completely closed and therefore the chip is not completely clock- unlocked. When I get my hands on the computer again (it belongs to a friend), I will redo the L1 bridges. Thanks for your help.

MSI K7T Pro2-A...No ATA-100 support in Win2000 :(

dcdomain- Controllers for ATA-100 are listed as SCSI devices in Device Manager. Sounds like you have these drivers successfully installed. I share your musings re: System tray icons...lol. No go to it, son!

Look closely at the cpu core....Does it appear damaged after your attemts to seat the heatsink?
