LiveCD works now

350W PSU enough for this system?

When buying a power supply for A64 system the main thing to look for is a strong 12 volt rail.Amd recommends as a minimum 15 amps on the 12 volt rail.I would take that up a bit to be safe and also make sure to buy a good quality power supply.

A64 3200+ stock HSF good or crap?

I started with the stock hsf.It actually is not a bad hsf.I'm now running the same zalman which is a great cooler.i would just use the zalman from the start,you end up using it in the end anyways.

Question Abouth RAM Backwards Compatibility, etc.

Can't say for sure if your dell can run the pc3200 ram but more then likey it can.It just will run at slower speed.Also pc 2700 is rated at 333mghz not 533 so it is slower then pc3200 which is rated at 400 mghz.

Which processor (AMD 64 or P4) is easier to keep cooler?

If you decide to go with the zalman make sure to check there site to see if your motherboard is compatible with it.They are huge hsf's,specially they cu all copper version.But they are great coolers.Mine cools very well.

A64 CQ?

Yes co's are more picky on memory,been running a co for 7 months now just make sure you buy compatible memory.Check with your motherboard manufacturer.

Will a MSI K8N Platinum nForce3 250 (Socket 754) Motherboard support this RAM safely?

I would definitely get memory off mb compatlbility list.A64's can be very picky on memory.Cas latency doesn't matter much with memory controller built in cpu.They run fine and fast with cas 3.Kingston value ram works fine in my system but I'm using Gigabyte K8vnxp mb.And as far as temps 64's...
