I had a similar issue on an 89 Trooper (it had the cylinder though). The symptoms are almost the exact same. The diaphragm in my fuel pressure regulator had ruptured allowing fuel to pour into the vacuum system and into the engine. This can easily be tested if you take the vacuum hose off...
See if you have the right bulb. Had a weird issue like that with an older Volvo and a single element bulb had been installed where a dual element was needed.

The light would appear as if you were unmoving. Speed of light is the same for all observers.
Time for you so near the speed of light is slower. Since you experience time slower, the light would be appear to move as fast as the speed of light.
Now if you went the speed of light, not sure what...
Why not buy the things you are after to make sure they work?
The innovation doesn't seem to be in the production of the materials but rather the combination. Why go through the effort when you haven't confirmed the outcome?

Sounds like it is working. The bladder works by being squished by the expanded water volume.
If you didn't have that cushion setup correctly the pressure would go up much much higher.
The 4 foot different should be 1.7 or so psi. Sounds like it's working as intended.

I think it's worth noting that the impact of being off your game can be a lot worse than a poor score.
Having the yips twirling rapidly through the air doesnt seem like a good thing. Self preservation is important.

I'll use the "money that left accounts" rule, last 12 months averaged 11k/month output (excluded the savings from the list, included paying off a car which was more of a "one-off"). That puts at roughly $132k/yr out.
