if you are this naturalistic about your steaks then why the eff do you need salt and pepper?
please explain how adding foreign substances of blandness is different than me making my well earned meat the way I want it. You apparently do.

i'll put a rub on any good cut of meat. It might be that I am east asian... but I need my food to be tinkered with to the likings of my taste buds.
salt and pepper is good enough for chicken nuggets and basic burgers. but I like some garlic, brown sugar, paprika and fresh black corn grounds...
hang yourself by your feet and cough real hard while you think of something that makes you laugh out loud.
People don't know... but that cures most ailments like aids and parkinsons... and scurvy
