u can deffinately go higher, I currently have my 2.8c 30 cap going at 3.8 on IC7 G max2 (using water though) I would say on air that chip has potential to go to 3.4 at 1.55 or 1.525v at 3.8 my voltage is only at 1.6. good luck with your o.c
where did you hear this about newer winnies performing less. personally I think its rumors and like always some chips perform better then others. amd isnt going to rehash their production model because their chips are too good at overclocking, so I would assume you still have the same chance...

Ok my geil ram is rated up to 3.1 yet the newest bios version i have for my mobo only goes up to 2.8 and im stuck at 3.67ghz (260x14) because i cant increase the voltage on my ram anymore to get it stable. I heard theres a way to unlock more voltage settings can anyone tell me how? thanks
lol right when i hit reply the page refreshes and u answer some of my questions oh well.. find ur cmos jumper and reset it. if that doesnt work find the nimh battery and pop it out and let it sit for 5 mins or so then put it back in and try booting it up
