Anything that has a different resolution is going to look different to different viewers. With this crowd I am sure it's going to be whoever owns which model in regards to which one looks better.

Anyone use 'Recertified' HHD's?

They are just another way for the manufacture to make money on our defective drives we had to return. I would imagine they test each drive and if it passes a certain test they move it onto another test to determine it's exact fault. I highly doubt they would open them up, but you never know...

Exterior finish on MBP question

On my new MBP the right side of the Touchpad is so much more rough han the other side. It is right where my right hand palm sits. If you were to run your hand over each surface the feel is like night and day between the two. I'm familier with how Panasonic makes the exteriors on the magnesium...

I believe one's eyes and ears are very individual. One screen that looks great to me can be awful for you. From what I saw by comparing the 2 models, the MBP was better to me. My 14 year old son was with me and he said the MBA was better. So I would think this is such a individual preference...

Apple Customer Service- just blew my mind!

You keep stating that because the Audio Chip is different then it has to be better. How do you come to that conclusion? I hope that is not how you compare other items in your life. Not trying to argue with ya, just don't get the rational.

I am in the same boat as you. I think now that BT 4.0 is coming more prevalent the manufactures will start getting busy. BTW, what difference will a BT KB vs a wireless KB make when it comes to theft? :confused:
