WinXP / Win98se Dualboot. How?

uhhh...just format the second partiion and install windows 98 on it. go to command prompt and type: format D: then restart and plop in a win 9x boot floppy choose "Start computer with cd rom support" plop in your win 98 cd into the cd rom drive type setup.exe at the dos prompt install 98...

Is linux/NU better than Windows and why?

LOL...dont answer this dumb question...i accidently posted it today right before i was leaving. I thought i had closed my browser but i guess i had posted it. I know this is a dumb question (i meant NU to be unix i just didnt finish the post LOL :) ) but anyway, dont answer this dumb question...

Can i run a winmodem with Wine or VMware?

i have a winmodem so i am unable to access the internet under linux. This is very annoying so i was thinking i could use vmware or Wine to run my winmodem. If it is possible with wine , can you tell me how i would start wine and how i would use my modem under it? i think i can figure it out if...

How do you uninstall an RPM??

I think its something like -e but im not sure how i would use this tag to uninstall an rpm. Say my RPM is called "NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-1541.src.rpm" and i have it installed on my system. how would i uninstall this RPM?? Thank you :)

when installing mandrake 8.1 it asked me if i wanted to use an experimental kernal instead of the 4.3. It said the experimental one would give me 3d acceleration. I chose the 3d acceleration kernel. So i boot my system and decide to try a 3d app called OpenUniverse. It starts and freezes. I...
