What is the difference between the pro and non-pro? Just core speed and memory speed right? Oh and the fact that the pro is actively cooled versus the passively cooled non-pro.
What's the chances of overclocking a non-pro to pro speeds? Good?
I have a GF4 Ti4200 8x AGP 128mb which is great for counterstrike (what isn't these days?). But I'm finally starting to play some newer games (games that use dx9 and have lots of eye candy). I only bought the Ti4200 like 1 month ago for around $80. I can easily resell it on ebay for $65-$85...
they had like 8 at the Fountain Valley Fry's in Southern California @ about 10:30am today for anyone who is near there. The rebates go to Young America.
Yea, both BB stores I went to in Orange County, CA had it for $149.99 - $50 MIR.
The Westminister store is sold out, and I grabbed the last one at the Costa Mesa store (may have some left in cabinets, but I don't know).
Total came out to be $145.45 with the 10% off coupon.... MAKE SURE it's...
Did anyone buy the $37.99 Car CD Deck/Head Unit? I bought one as a gift but I want to know if it plays burnt CDs... If it helps, it's a Resonance RB60 CD Player. Haha, it's probably a POS, but I'm sure it's better than a stock 1990 Toyota Corolla Cassette head unit.
Anyway, if anyone bought...
well if u had to connect teh l1's, you are essentially unlocking it yourself. If you really want to test if it's factory unlocked wipe it all off...
just because there is no gap doesn't mean it's connected.
my l3 didn't have a gap, but i had to connect it with rear defogger b4 the multipliers...
you cannot use a pencil. the pencil trick doesn't work with any of the XP chips.
there are a lot of things u can use, conductor pen, solder, rear defogger paint.
personally i used rear defogger paint.
I received both my 1700+ T-Breds today from newegg. I am willing to bet everyone who says the chip is factory unlocked has a newer kt400 or nforce2 board (maybe even the kt333 works) as I'm pretty sure this is a false claim. It is more of a feature from the newer motherboards NOT the t-bred...
=) new? look rite under my name. I've been here for over 2 years. Just because I dont' post often doesnt' mean I'm new. And as you can already see, I at least do a little homework before posting. There is definitely a T-BRED 1700+. Not only did I know that, but I also knew that it ONLY...
I want to get (2) 1700+ T-Breds Rev. A and run them on my K7D Master L. It should work right? The K7D Master can handle the T-Bred according to the MSI bios 1.5 page, but will it handle it in dual mode? I will most likely have to mod the L5 bridge.
Also on a side note, I am going to want to...
No, I turn ECC off. Corsair XMS memory is non-ecc so of course it must be off.
I actually am using most of the pci slots. The only problem at 150FSB which is common with everyone is the onboard USB tends to be a little flakey at that FSB. All my PCI cards are fine. I run an Audigy and a TV...
=)
I figured it out... My corsair non-ecc works now... Just had to do a lil bios changing....
And about the overclocking..... I'm sorry.... You are sadly mistaken. I am actually running the board at 150FSB rite now... I only have 1700+ in here so that's 11x150 = 1650mhz.... But my incoming...
