atx power switch for test bench

I recall seeing a simple device that just basically a button on a jumper (I can't find any links atm). I normally just short the pins with a screwdriver. edit: found this kit over at FrozenCPU ATX Control Kit

Has anyone gotten money back from Paypal from bum ebay sellers?

I've had the full amount reimbursed in a day after filling out the complaint form. But I also called my credit card company that day as well, so I'm sure that helped some.

thx for the reply vietofmars I got the drive working by just doing everything all over again. Removed the card and hard drive and drivers. And just force installed everything back in. For future reference, and some advice, make sure your Windows works with a >137GB hard drive before...

Computer GURU's ONLY! (Backup question)

From what I know, programs themselves can't be backed up, mainly because most of the time, the files are placed in multiple places(Windows directory, Program Files directory, etc.) There are programs that make an image of your hard drive, but that kind of defeats the purpose if you're going to...

How do you quickly destroy your own hard drive, or at least erase all data (not virus)

I've never tried format c: /q or that NSA grade sector, but for speed so I don't know how fast they are, but I'd say deleting the partitions on fdisk should do it.

Why do I have to take Spanish 2????

I took 4 years of spanish and probably only remember enough for simple phrases(proabaly only lines from Spanish 1). I'm with Richie, I wanted to take Japanese but my school didn't offer it :( It was Spanish or French, and in my area, Spanish will probably be of much more use.

where are some good sites to take sample tests for A+ and MCSE??

For A+, just visit CompTIA's site for the objectives. I should've done that, probably would've scored a lot more. But with the A+, if you have any computer knowledge, you can pass fine. MCSE, I'm not sure about, I haven't checked into it, although burnedouts suggestion look promoising.

does the Post Office open on Saturdays?

All of the retail POs(meaning they have things to sell, not the ones where you pick up packages) are open on Saturdays here in San Jose. We even have one in the mall thats open on Sundays as well
