Hi,
I am having a strange issue with my new A8N-SLI Premium - whenever I use either the optical or coaxial SP/DIF connections, I only get a stereo output! The speaker set I am connecting to is a Scan AV-6 (5.1/DTS) and I get 5.1 fine when using this set and the coaxial cable with my previous...
Friend of mine has an 8RDA3+ and cannot boot, getting to FF (fans, HDD spinning up) then nada, no graphics nothing...
Is this due to RAM incompatibilities or what, as he has tried 2 different 8RDA3+s with exactly the same problem!
Rest of System:
Epox recommended ATX case (400W)
GF3 Ti200 AGP...
Thanks :)
A friend lent me two 256MB sticks of DDR2100 Infineon RAM last night so I took out my 512MB stick and tried them - booted up first time, no IE crashing, nada... I think I have my answer!
I have been having this problem before, but thought it was due to my rapidly-dying motherboard and-or hard drive. However, with a spangly new Epox 8RDA+ and 80Gb Western Digital HDD (with fresh install of windows XP) I have started encountering the same problem again - what could be causing...

I'm sure I've read how to do this but can't for the life of me remember! Just installed XP on new hard drive and spotted it has called the new hard drive (system drive!) F: with my slave drive C: - I can change the drive letter of the slave drive, but can't change the system drive letter! Is...
OK, got the motherboard, it connected all in fine and started second time! (The first I was overeager and neglected one thing - plugging power into the motherboard! *ashamed*)
I am currently setting up Windows XP but have a different problem - my new hard drive (system drive) has been detected...
