I would consider using the chemical reaction found in mitochondrion(atp) as a storage media. That is if the size is not to small for low powered lasers. Then I would design a cpu using mesurments in angstroms not microns. Perhaps using light, which operates in the terahertz wavelenght. I would...

Used three pin fan on two pin board

I used a p3 fan in place of a celeron fan, and the puter will not boot. Did I fry the board?

uh oh did I make a boo boo

just changed fans on celery board. Had two pinner and used a three pinner. Now it wont boot. Did I just fry the board?

Has anyone lapped a p3?

Thank you, Now that I have that straight I think I just might make room to splice in the air pump hose from the fish tank to the assembly to help pre-cool the lapped hs. I will drill the hs and silicone it to the stock hs, and this experiment will include the copper shim I just ordered. Air...

I have a p3 blued core and was curious if I have enough underneath to shave off the blueing. Or, will I blow electrical energy up its a**.

Gee, I hope its about the portable earthquake rescue equiptment I thought of the last time it was needed. It could be flown in by helicopter; since roads for cranes would be a problem. If I had a lever long enough I could move a fat lady.

1030b + black components?

I have the black 1030, and white phers. When my company does the bronze black color again I will have scraps to experiment. Thin black plastic glued and baked. I am fortunate enough to have access to acrylic skins at work, so I can mod most componets(its an itch though)that can be disassembled...

Do I really need a 300 watt p/s for AMD

Well, I have just started a project to recycle a pair of cases with 250 watts, and I just bolted one on top of the other. Given the basic electronics involved the two should work very well. So, all the talk about needing 300 watts seems to be making you impulsive. You could wait till the prices...
