Yes, this I have noticed with leakers, you don't know when they are leaking stuff or just speculating. Despite new info I still think what I speculated on my previous post is accurate.

So...
Yep, slightly below 50% as I don't expect perfect scaling from clock increase, but could be higher if AMD pushes clocks.
I had Navi21 at 275W and 45% faster than Geforce 2080 ti, it ended up at 300W and 35% faster than Geforce 2080 ti, so for me it was below expectations. That's why I'm going...
Based on the latest rumors this is what I'm at.
Navi 31 = 160CU, 256bit bus
Navi 32 = 120CU, 192bit bus
Navi 33 = 80CU, 128bit bus
They all will have infinity cache/3D cache to make up for the lack of memory bandwidth. Rdna3 will need 1.2x higher ipc and 1.3x clock increase to reach 2.5x...
It might not matter ek2121 is suggesting we could see very high clocks for RDNA3, then it's possible to hit those +2.5x performance target.
I'm still 80CU's per chiplet despite there been some speculation on small chiplets like 8x20 or 4x40CU for navi31, because of the MacOS leak.
Gamers are...
The problem is you don't get perfect scaling increase CU's and clocks. We can see this comparing 5700xt and 6900xt, 6900xt is about 2x faster despite 1.18x higher clocks.
A 1.13x ipc and 1.13x clock gain would land in the 2.1x area for average performance increase, so to me 240CU's make more...
You're the dude that spread the 160CU's rumor, I don't see what MI200 has anything to do with RDNA3, I don't follow that stuff.
What is the different between navi31 and Navi32 you think?
I think all 3 of them were talking about gaming performance (raster) and not RT or Teraflops. People are mentioning RT or Teraflops because 2.5x does indeed look very high.
I consider Kitty just as reliable as Kopite this is why I think we're looking at 240CU's for Navi31 after his latest tweet...
It's possible that the I/O die is 6/7nm and that's why AMD saying "advanced node".
We now have kopite saying Rdna3 is a bigger increase over RDNA2 than RDNA2 was over RDNA1. Kitty saying RDNA3 is aiming over 2.5x performance and Redgamingtech also saying it's over 2.5x.
Based on the MacOs...
Okey now that Navi 14 is released we can make very accurate guesses on the new cards, this is my list:
Navi apu = 12CU 7nm (no 7nm+)
Navi 10 = 40CU 7nm
Navi 14 = 24CU 7nm
Navi 12 = 80CU HBM2e (will be no gddr6 cards)
Navi 21 = 56CU 7nm+ RDNA2
Navi 23 = 112CU 7nm+ RDNA2
Everything points to...
Yes RDNA2 but I will probably make some minor changes to my lineup based on new info from videocardz/wccftech and moores law dead youtube video, but I want confirmation first. Might post it anyway as videocardz is very reliable.
I actually got that one wrong, suppose to be 112CU, all cards are based on this Navi 10 layout
https://hothardware.com/ContentImages/Article/2874/content/small_navi-die.jpg
But wccftech latest leak about mobile navi cards indicates this navi 10 layout by AMD is just a dummy and not real. As...
Things are looking very good for me, this has been my prediction for some time now.
Navi apu = 12CU 7nm+
Navi 14 = 24CU 7nm, 128-bit bus ggdr6
Navi 10 = 40CU 7nm, 256-bit bus ggdr6
Navi 12 = 56CU 7nm, 256-bit bus ggdr6 but 512 GB/s memory speed
Navi 21 = 80CU 7nm+, ray-tracing with HBM
Navi...
Guys late April Nvidia released drivers improving its Gpus in Strange brigarde about 15% in 1440p and 25% in 4k. This radeon card performances should land exactly at 2070 or slightly below.
Check hardwareunboxed latest radeon 7 vega video for performances confirmation and here is linked to the...
