I am sick of Plexter VS (ANY) : Plextor dont build a single CDR!!!

Given that it runs IIS, I'll bet there are plenty of hidden exploits which could easily undermine his 'uncrackable' server, which really is nothing more than an over-glorified hard drive. 4.9% time usage != server That is a collosal waste of resources ;) Now if you were, say, somehow...

in need of a good (hah) pci VC for a tiny box

Well, long story short: I'm going to get a SHUTTLE FSYS-SV24 cube :D However, the onboad video makes me shudder. Any good, small PCI video cards around right about now? Its been awhile since I looked at PCI :P And no. I won't mod my cube so a V5 could fit ;)

Okay, now this may be a stupid question, but.. do the slot loading drives accept Mini-CDs? Doesn't look like they would be pushed out, and I'm not about to try it for fear that it gets eaten, never to be seen again :Q

can you believe this

I personally think win2k's hadling of HL/CS is abit flaky. same hardware in two different boxes (CPU difference, Celery vs P3)... celery=win2k, p3=win98. p3 never had issues with random locks. celery experienced alot (though, not as frequent as what he says :P)

Win2k/pwr usr and d3d/DD

Assume a fresh install of Win2k was just applied, all proper drivers, blah blah blah. thats basically what I look at when I go over the local sec. policies again and again :P I really have no clue what to look for in that respect. I should note that OGL games (Quake3, HL/CS) and Straight DD...

"DOS prompt" in Win 2K??

You don't. Win2k isn't floated over DOS like win9x et al. Native DOS was removed. You just have the DOS emulator included with the win2k installation.

Is it really a Good Thing? to connect the delta up to my motherboard's power connection? Or should I find some sort of converter and draw direct off the PSU. Ambient temp/CPU temp went up abit sinc eI ditched my old gf2mx200 for my shiny gf3 :D Gotta cool myself down some more, so I'll replace...
