thanks, unfalliblekrutch. so let's say i'm working with 100 megs. the two options would be: a) i strip the audio and it turns into 75 megs. i add my own audio (25 megs worth) and it goes back to 100 megs b) don't strip the audio and add my 25megs of audio, which keeps it at 100megs?

I need help picking out a Camcorder.

thanks, "capture audio" is check. i tried a buncha options. I still don't understand the comment from the documentation above (re: i don't have DV specs). I also found the following old post from their forums: I love VirtualDub, because it offers a level of control no commercial product...

How is the 'Hauppauge WinTV Go' tv tuner?

can my ATI radeon 9200 support widescreen?

I don't think this is my exact card, but I assume it's similar: http://ati.amd.com/products/radeon9200/radeon9200/specs.html At the bottom it gives the supportted resolutions w/a note about 16:9. I'm looking to use 1440x900. Will it work? I don't understand the terminology well enough...

what is a subwoofer cable?

I just got some new speakers and it says I need a subwoofer cable. I looked on amazon and radioshack's websites and it looks like a normal a/v cable. What's the difference? I also see some for $7 and some for over $100. what's the deal there?
