Its not even stable at 600, reboots on a regular basis. I have adjusted my multipliers FSB settings and voltage settings with no luck. I plugged my 1700+ back in that is clocked at 2 ghz and it runs like a charm. I am pretty sure I have a bad chip, but I could be wrong.
Do I need any special bios to use this chip? I am using an NF7-S and the chip refuses to load windows at anything besides 6x100 no matter what multipier or voltage settings I use. Pretty frustrating
I just recieved a chip from newegg today and it seems I am having the same problem. Dug, are you sure its a bad chip or is there some kindof setting I am missing in the bios?
Are these CPU's unlocked both ways? Higher multipiers and lower multipliers are available? Like the 2400 mobile for example, does that have multipliers past 13.5 available?
Mine shakes at all resolutions. This just started happening... was not an issue at all before. My setup has not changed at all either. Im just glad I discovered it within the 30 days of purchase.
