The Hot Deals section is feeling like a Fry's. Years ago it seems like there were always new deals coming and going.
But i did snag a 2600x at $80 for my son. He's moving from console to PC. With the PS5 specs out there, I really didn't want to go below 8 cores, but dang, couldn't pass up...
Many moons ago I worked around a lot of enterprise equipment. Not as a rack and stack tech, but on site with them in a finance/operational role. Part of what we had to do was keep track of where each piece of equipment was located.
Back then it was mostly asset tags and a database built...
I have zero need for 8TB of storage. But I still want to buy one just because this seems like a legit good deal. Makes me feel nostalgic for the good old days of Hot Deals.
I watched the 1st season on Netflix and liked it. There are parts that remind you of the Wahlberg movie, but the story is different enough to be entertaining.
MC also has the Ryzen 7 1700 for $280. Lower scores, but I like the much lower wattage.
