Time to switch internet companies

I think this has to do with the Airlink adapter drivers I installed, but for a period, my DL speed was being capped at 30-40 kbps on 768/384 ATT DSL on a wired connection. after I uninstalled the Airlink drivers, I'm pretty sure the cap went away and my speed was topping at 140-150 kbps on a...

Slow GTX280?

are you using some kind of exotic AA method or DX 10? I'm pretty sure CoH is not that hard on current high end PCs. took me a while to find it but here's a link with a CoH benchmark comparison http://www.legitreviews.com/article/745/4/

Yet another GTA IV question

running E8500 @4.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 4870 512, WIN XP playing at 16*10, med textures, highest rendering, detail settings 20-40 I'd estimate a FPS average of 30. game probably runs between 20 FPS to 40 FPS while driving through the city. when out of the car, game seems to run above 30 FPS...

Overclocking E8400 voltage question

this seems like one hell of an old thread to bump for a first post, but Intel specified max Vcore for 45nm CPUs is 1.3625. anything above is supposed to lower the life expectancy of your CPU. however, some people are not even comfortable with a Vcore above 1.3 volts. anyways, CPU overclocking...

Gameing Mice question

I love that mouse I went through 3-4 of the 3 button version (unfortunately, the quality of its wiring isn't too great), but am currently using the 5 button version although I haven't really ever used the 2 extra buttons there's something about its shape that fits my hand very well
