ATI Overdrive?

Hey, I tried looking aroud the forum but I didn't find too much on the overdrive option on ATI cards. I was just wondering what "overdrive" is and if it'll hurt my system. Since I'm runing a OEM ATI X800 256 card (on a Dell 8400, p4 3.0 w/HT and 1 gig ram) I didn't get any instructions or help...

Radeon X800XTs are darn near 700 bucks heheh.

4838 on PCI-e X800 XT

I finally got my Dell and ran 3dmark05 on it. I left all the settings at the defalts with all the windows/dx9/ati updates. So is 4838 a decent score for a PCI-e card or did I get ripped off?

Monster Cables

No offense to the original poster, but I have to agree with the people that say you have no idea what you're talking about. Your argument has nothing to do with capitalism. Its actually more along th elines of socialism/communism and your deisre to have equal pricing so that everyone can afford...

PCI-E ATI X800 XT
