@baloo the graphic card that had post beep was the 7800gtx and mobo was the lanparty. they have both been changed. right now i have a 7600gs and asus mobo, and there is no post beep error. what happened was soon after i installed the new card in the new board, my LCD just turned blank in...

in the advanced settings, in the nvidia control panel, they had this asus sub category from asus, the asus OSD means its an asus on-screen-display i think. like the OSD on the lcd's that u adjust image settings such as color temp, brightness etc.

replacement for dead 939 motherboard

the problem is... the reason im switching mobos is because my lanparty nf4 is dead/cannot POST and ive taken it out to RMA, thats already undergoing its process. I have all my components in another temporary mobo i bought that uses a K8M890 chipset and have everything already inside my case...

!!!!!! i have a similar problem. to begin, im a complete newb and my budget was too high for my own good 2 years ago. i bought a socket 939 x2 4800+, an eVGA 7800gtx ACS KO, and OCZ 2gb DDR.... every single component was immediately updated and all my stuff became obsolete, i feel depressed...
