Quality of HDMI Cables...

I just want to confirm that HDMI handshaking sucks. My HTPC won't recognize the HDTV attached to it unless it's already on when the HTPC boots and the receiver is set to the proper input. Annoying.

Being in Indiana, you're not far away from Bell's brewing up in Kalamazoo, MI. They make some extraordinary stuff. Pretty much all their ales are available year round so I doubt you'll have much trouble finding them. Great, great stuff.

Portlanders: They renamed SE 82nd Ave. to "Avenue of the Roses".

Is it just an honorary name? I imagine it'll still be known as 82nd and then they'll stick honorary street signs underneath. Sort of like Rosa Parks in the NE.

I'm pretty sure that the "5 tax years" means the account has to exist for five full years of taxation. So, in your case, that clock would start counting on April 15 of 2004. So it's not even until this October you could use it... you'd have to wait until next April. I think.

Yes, and clearly - slow to react though they are - car companies are complicit with the oil companies because it behooves them to sell inefficient, low-mileage vehicles as opposed to following consumer demand. :roll:
