ati tv wonder crashes

I've never had any video card except this Radeon 7000 in the machine. I will give what you suggest a try. I'll be back to report the good/bad news :)

Oops, freudian slip... I also take back what I said. I could be doing nothing but watching tv and it will crash my comp randomly. I just wish I could watch tv in peace!

No I haven't. I'm also having the problem that whenever I use my tv the computer is completely unstable and almost always will end up blue screening or causing some sort of memory error before restarting the whole system. This is actually the more disturbing of my problems :)

I tried that. 9.2 is even worse! The sound is horrible, and I stil have the crashing problem.

*** Official ASUS A7N8X/Deluxe (nForce2) Thread ***

When I power up, the boot screen (that says a7n8x-e deluxe and is sorta green) RARELY is not screwed up. It flickers and is illegible. Any ideas??

I tried. Pretty much, if the TV is on at all my computer is completely unstable and 80% of the time it will blue screen and restart. I'm using the newest multimedia center (9.02). I have no clue what to do.

The video card is the Radeon 7000... pretty embarressing, I know. Which driver are you talking about? There are several installed with the tv card.

Starting about a week or so ago, I pretty much can't run any application at the same time as the tv application. I get a quick bluescreen and the system restarts. I tried updating the software but that caused problems on its own, and I ended up having to do a system restore. any ideas??

which cpu with my Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe?

I also just ordered a 430w thermaltake power supply. I've gone without a computer for a month now. If the power supply nor the cpu are the problem, my foot is going through the monitor.

I just have an ati radeon that i bought 3 years ago. Nothing is wrong with it, but I just don't want it screwing with my new hardware.

bad_pool_caller

Okay, this is getting frustrating. I just put in a new motherboard (ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe) with new DDR RAM (Crucial 256MB PC3200). I'm still having the same problem, with the same "bad_pool_caller" BSoD. What now? New CPU? New PS?
