I have a gig of Mushkin PC3500 2-3-3-5 RAM in my machine currently... I'm considering adding another 512mb or 1gb kit, but of Corsair XMS PC3200 2-3-3-6. Right now I'm running the RAM at 5:4 on my setup, equating to 192mhz after my overclock.
Has anyone pulled this off successfully before...
Right now I have a 2.6C running at nearly 3.4GHz. I don't plan to move to a PCI-e platform for another 18-24 months if I can help it. In your opinion, will a 3.4E be a good, inexpensive overclocking option in a year or so should the need for more processing power arise?
Thanks! :D
This unit will do zero gaming and will run MCE 2005, hence the need for a DX9 card. What's the most cost-efficient solution out there that will offer DVI output for future HDTV use?
Thanks! :D

I am having this very same problem, except I am on a wireless network.
The equipment:
Linksys WRT54GS (router)
DLink DWL-G520 (in each box)
FTP is slow. File sharing is slow. It's capping around 60k/s for FTP and some ungodly low speed for file sharing. Both machines are about 6ft...
