why don't hard IDE hard drives come in 10000RPM?

I use adaptec 19160 card and it works great.......zero problems.

I'm running Win2000 pro using scsi 15k cheetah right now and want to install my new IDE 120gig 7200rpm (2meg cache) HD. Is this IDE drive going to slow my system down ?? I want to install Win98se as C:\> on the IDE drive and fix the boot.ini or re-install W2k back on my cheetah scsi for...

Logging in as XP admin

during the install it will ask for the adm name and password and below it will be a number of blank boxes to add user's. What i did was enter my name with no password or user's and it automatic log's into adm without a problem and if i ever need to add user's it's easy from the cpl. Does this...

I format did 1 low level format and still no go....

GoTo: http://samsungelectronics.com/hdd/support/faqs/faq_1320.html and D/L clearhdd.exe to your boot floppie, use it to clean up the disk cause you have a installer overlay in your boot sector that will prevent your installing that OS. No Problem........CU

Anyone using wireless router..need advice:

I want to have a computer in the house about 100 ft away to share my LAN cable connection and don't have but (1) IP address. Need advice on whats the best wireless combo to buy? What do they come with, a router box and a couple NIC cards and some software or what ?? Thx

Win2k lockup's....Why ??

And I'd like to mention that my XP rc2 doesn't lockup......not yet anyway. But (of course) i stay in win2k 90% of the time and thats why i'm mad with win2k right now. Thanks for letting me blow my whistle :-( Pete
