how big of a monitor is enough? (with poll)

My Dell 3007WFP is sharp as a tack; I sit about 2 feet away and its really efficient for doing financial modeling or editing any multiple sets of documents. Its not really that big at all, you get a lot more vertical space to play with (1600 pixels) compared to the 24 inch LCD at 1200 pixels in...
