This looks fantastic. I really enjoyed Shift 2. It looks fairly similar to that title in the screenshots. How similar is the driving model to it? Also, how does the multiplayer currently work? For instance, if I become a team member, am I able to create private races with other team member...

Have GTX280 - Can Step-up to GTX295 for $70. Should I?

Considering I bought it for $296 after rebate and MS Cashback, I wouldn't say I over-paid. I waited until the time was perfect. :) I just paid for my step-up, so it shouldn't be too much longer until I get to put it through the paces. Although I could have had it quicker, but was too cheap to...

It's the 8800 GTX, as you said. I was just searching on Google for 8800 GTX sounds on power down, and came by a YouTube video demonstrating this very sound. YouTube Video with 8800GTX power down "squeal" It's the sound at the very end of the video. So is it in fact the mobo that causes...

I'll have to check my closet to see if I have an old PCI VGA card :) . I know I have my 7800 GTX I can test with if need be. What you are saying makes sense... I just hate things like that. As for PSU rail over load, I have 3 120mm Antec 3-spd fans plugged into one jumper (daisy chained)...
