Fix it right. Cheaping out can get you or someone you know/love killed. SRS systems are too important to rig or DIY.

Buying rebuilt/salvage title vehicles? any tips on what to look out for?

Generally they are not worth it. Salvage/Rebuilt means totaled. Could have been wrecked, a flood victim, stolen, etc. etc. I have seen two cars (one wrecked in front and the other in the rear) cut in half with a torch and the good pieces welded together. In the case of a car/truck that...

F250 rear brakes problems.

If the brake hardware (specifically the drum auto adjusters) has ever been replaced, make sure the parts are correct. The auto adjusters are right and left handed. If you use the wrong one, the auto adjuster will spread the shoes locking the drum rolling forward.

Help me limit my choices

Most turbos are easy on gas as long as you keep your foot out of them. My roommate has an '04 MazdaSpeed Miata, and he can get non-turbo gas mileage by using a lighter foot around town. Of course the trick is keeping your foot out of them. :D

How much does it cost to repair an ac in a used car?

Depends on the car, but it could easily run over $2k if you have to replace the compressor, clutch, evap core, hoses, condenser, etc.

Car shaking/vibrating violently
