Asus A8N SLI integrated network card hangs up on disconnection

Hi I'm having a weird problem: my connection randomly disconnect but it seems it is actually only the integrated network card that disconnects and can't get up online anymore. The connection tray actually freezes and nothing else helps but rebooting if I want to get back online again...

Connection lost randomly

No one? :/ It also crashes my system tray, I can't access any network options after it disconnects

What could be the problem? I just bought brand new RJ-45 cable cause I have had these problems earlier too. Well no help... Windows still losts the connection pretty randomly and when I try to login (DSL connection) back on, it says my name and password are wrong (I guess it's cause I have...

Main differencies between EPox EP-9NPA+ Ultra and A8N-SLI Premium?

What are the main differencies between these two motherboards and what is better on the other ? I'm struggling between these two motherboards right now, I dunno which to buy :/ (third option could be Asus' Deluxe mobo)

nForce 4 motherboards without SLI?

I'd love to buy A8N-SLI Premium but it is so damn expensive :/ that's why I'm looking for other options unless you can convince me about the Premium :)

nForce 4 motherboards without SLI?

Are there any motherboards out there that have nForce4 NB chips, have socket 939, NO SLI and have passive cooling the same kind as Asus a8n.sli premium (was it that?) Thanks!

My system is still open but the processor choice is pretty clear: AMD 64 3000 > What kind of motherboard would you recommend for that gfx card?

alimoalem: a tower case won't look too good in a living room :roll: yeah unless you hide it well lol. That's what I meant, purely an issue of appearance :) also, I don't have too much money to spend now so I will go with the GF 6600GT. I can't even find those GS cards you mentioned in Finland...

Does it matter too much if there's a fan on the North Bridge chip? Of course it's a bit louder but will the fans work for long? Can't think of anything more irritating sound in a computer than a broken fan :disgust: Wouldn't like to buy the Premium only because it is fanless. And I read in...

Alright, thanks for the reply GamerExpress. What's the difference between ZALMAN CNPS7700-ALCU, ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU and Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu ? Which one should I buy? And is the Epox more stable and better performer than the Asus one?
