Mighty thanks, that does look like a fine build. I guess all that remains for me is to decide between the 7870 and the 7950. I'll most likely go for the latter; if i'm gonna spend so much, might as well spend 40 more.. 2 questions though: 1 - That Asrock mobo was actually my first choice, but...

The reason why i'm not keen on ditching the cooler is that if i don't put in one now, i'll probably never do it. I added a CM cooler (cheaper and weaker than the 212 evo) on my current system, and i only got it right at the second attempt. First time it wasn't properly seated and my CPU temps...

Oh, good catch on the HDD! It's actually exactly the same price, so i'm going to go for that one instead. As far as the OC goes, i guess i'll settle with 4.2 then. Don't really want to push it too hard because i want this system to last quite a few years. Or do you think i'd be better off not...
