I just received a call from someone at NEC and they are sending me the check on Monday! Sounds like the issue will be resolved all of us shortly if you have turned up the heat on them with complaints to the AG, BBB, etc.

"Official" DFI nF4 Ultra-D / SLI-DR Thread

I wouldn't necessarily blame your PSU. I have the same issue running the dividers with a PCP&C 510 Express. I only have basic Geil PC3200 ram (2 x 512), but I can run the memory 200 at 222 @ 2.5-3-3-6 without a hitch. But whenever I try to use a divider other than 100, I get a blue screen...

HELP! After BIOS flash, computer won't boot into windows.

lol Same thing happened to me and I freaked. There is a setting in the genie (under the votage settings for the CPU, Chipset, RAM, etc.) to have memtest load on boot. It starts 'enabled'; simply switch it off.

Thanks, I will check out those programs. I currently have the vcore set to 1.5v, but I have tried as high as a little over 1.6v.

I have a DFI Ultra-D (2/18 bios) w/ a 3200+ and some Geil ram. In isolation, I can get the processor to right around 2.5 and the memory is fine to 222. Right now, I have the system going 1:1 at 222. Whenever I try playing with the divider (outside of 2:1 when I was seeing what the CPU could...

I just filed a complaint with the state AG. shinson, I just received a response from the email I sent to the rebate center. It took a while for the response; they are really slow.

Why the OC problems?

I think I am going to RMA the memory. I just ran memtest again at 2.5, 4, 4, 10 as suggested by Duvie at 210 (2.9v) and I get errors all over the place (right now I am looking at the screen of the computer and it is 73% done with test 8 and there are 71,663 errors). That doesn't seem right...

It's the DFI NF4 Ultra-D. I have the vdimm set to 2.9v and the timings when I did it were 3-3-3-7; the motherboard automatically went with 2.5-3-3-7 which failed as well. I think I am first going to flash an updated bios and then loosen the timings per your advice if that does do it. Do...

No. I put it on a 5/6 divider with 240 attempting to make the memory run at 200. It failed. Yes, I read the guide. No problems until I attempted to consolidate. I was able to get CPU to 2.4GHz and the memory to 210 in isolation. However, if I try to run the CPU at even 2.2GHz (220 x...

Why the OC problems?

Alright, I stopped reading when it said floppy. Anyways, the memory tested fine to 210. It failed test 6 at 215. So, I should be able to keep the ram at 200 with dividers when I bump up the CPU. But it doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

Alright, I followed the steps in Zebo's sticky and am having problems bringing it all together. I can get the CPU to 2.4 when I have the divider memory at 1/2 all the way down. I haven't run memtest since I don't have a floppy on this computer, so I figured I would just run a 5/6 divider...

Well, I spoke with someone at the rebate processing center and they said that I needed to fax a filled out rebate form and the original sales receipt to their office and it should take care of it. I am doubtful, but what the hell. She said that I needed to call back in a couple business days...
