Luckily, I've been afforded the oppurtunity to buy certain things I like... I bought it because it was a steal IMO. I don't know exactly what I will do with it, we'll see. I thought about putting it next to the couch, kinda of like a terminal of sorts, but we'll have to see.
I worked for Gateway for over three years. Some of their products were always made overseas <no one knew it> and they all worked fine. The way I look at it is 1) it's warrantied 2) it has a decent resale value <over what it's selling for today> 3) it does it's job 4) it's gotten good reviews...
