That is correct, however IMO it's better to solve these problems than hide from them. You don't want a lot of stay voltage wandering through your equipment.

Take a look at this newegg comparison, and vote for your favorite. Keep in mind that money is a big issue here: Newegg I've selected Asus cards because the mobo is Asus (techtour baby :thumbsup: ) and it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to have them branded the same. I'm leaning toward...

If the devices are located near eachother you may be able to eliminate your ground loop by plugging both devices into the same power strip.

Not only that, but in all cases (except soda cans), it wastes more energy to recycle something, then it does to make a new one.

how many people rent from netflix/bb and make backup copies with their dvd burners?

I signed up for Blockbuster Online today, because the wife and I are going to do AFI's Top 100. I don't anticipate feeling the urge to rip very many of them though. I'll make it through life without a backup copy of Yankee Doodle Dandy.
