Yuck. I really don't like it. Maybe it's because I'm more used to Euro designs, but this just feels too... heavy... to me.

Umm... what exactly can you do with a flash drive?

Whatever you do, don't put a swap file on them. It'd work, but kill the flash chip in a day or so (swap files get LOTS of write processes).

Need W98 advice about big HDs.

Your friend could make many smaller partitions. It's what I did with my 120GB drive to stop FAT32 misbehaving, and I found it quite effective.

Dilemma

Thank you for the welcome :) I'm in Italy, so I'm using ?uros. That shopkeeper was obviously overinterested in selling me the GeForce: he even said Radeons have problems with some games, driver incompatibility and so on. Possibly trying to trick me, as I don't have the typical geek look that...
