Anyone tried running in opengl mode instead? I would try but got an ATI card. Didn't read through all of it.
Edit system.cfg change r_driver Direct3D9 to r_driver OpenGL
Use seatools or on the drive. You'll have to take the drive out anyways. That is what your returning.

Can you change your vid card settings now? Display advanced settings. If not just go to ATI and download the control panel. It's in the 5.8 driver low speed section
