When should we expect the next wave of Centrinos?

i agree with you ceo, the powerbooks really do look awesome. the laptop that eventually steered me from the dark side was the sharp mm10. i dont have it yet, but ive played with one a lot and hopefully ill get one this xmas. im kind of hesitant though. im hoping they're release a new version...

ATI All-In-Wonder RADEON 9800 PRO question

i agree with modedepe. also, i suggest NOT getting an ati vid cap card. i owned one for quite a while and it just plain sucked. may be i just had a bad experience but i definatly recommend doing lots of research on other brands and even consider getting an external video processor instead...

Theory on Half Life 2 "stolen?" code

has anyone played the leak? then you wouldnt have to sit and discuss this. just go play it. its awesome. there are tons of bugs though, but i dont see much warranting a 4 month delay, but then again, im not a coder at valve... anyway, all i have to say is that the delay sucks and whole...

anyone have information on the BenQ FP731 lcd?

after doing some lcd shopping i ran across the BenQ FP731 17" lcd. i was wondering if anyone had any information on it, or better yet, if anyone actually owns one of these. any and all info/opinions are welcome oh yeah, some resources...

ghosting on the viewsonic p75f+

yeah im trying to decide between the 1760nx and the viewsonic 171b. they both use the same lcd screen so thats not the problem. im just trying to compare warranties and casings now

What the Heck, is Halo worth buying?

oh yeah, as far as sheer gameplay its pretty much the same as the xbox as far as ive experienced it. so if you liked it on the xbox you'll prolly like it on the pc. id say if you've already got an xbox, halo, and xbox live you're prolly better off just sticking to that though

ideal lcd for me?

actually from my experience 25ms or better is good enough for gaming. esp for a college student, i dont have time to game all day like i used to. and since space is limited now the size of my monitor is a pretty big deal. i can handle a little bit of blurryness but a good lcd w/ 25ms response...

yeah i checked out the 172T but anand says it wasnt too great for gaming. the hitachi was better, but both our pretty far out of my price range. ill have to look into that dell though. i guess i can do without the dual inputs if it will really save me a good deal of money.

Post your X2 benchmarks...

i also did a "reality check" i guess. i had ie, winamp [not paused], aim, windows update, and some other stuff running during the benchmark. my system: amd xp 2700+ @ 2400mhz [stock is 2100] gf4 ti4200 64mb 8x AGP 512mb corsair ddr400 in dual channel [my fsb is 200x2] benchmark results...

ghosting on the viewsonic p75f+

anyone else have a viewsonic p75f+? i just got mine in and after a couple hours of use there ghosting all over the screen. im gonna return them and try to get some lcds unless i can find some way to fix this.

im looking for a few lcd monitors i can compare that fit my requirements. im having trouble finding some. heres what im looking for: 17" lcd 400:1 or better contrast ratio 230+ cd/m^2 dual inputs [analog + dvi] 1280x1024 native res 25ms or faster response time heres the biggy: around $350USD...
