What are the settings to connect to the network with Windows ME?

Well.after pulling all my hair out I just decided to reformat and guess what! The file sharing tab shows up now ,so for some reason it didn't get installed the first time I loaded Windows ME.I wonder why it never prompted me for the disk though.Oh well, I figured out how to connect both...

I have already done that and checked it over a hundred times since but my sharing tab still doesn't show up.What could be the problem?

I am constantly getting the message that windows is unable to access the network.I am using Windows ME ,connected to the 2Wire homeportal from a Realtek RTL8139/810XFamily Fast Ethernet NIC using a Ethernet cable .I could not install the homeportal software,only the driver for the Ethernet...

Need Help with Folder settings for Windows ME

WinME System Restore problem

I don't know if this is what you are looking for.But I use this program to delete the WinME system restore from my computer and it works great.Its called System restore Pro v1.5 final and its only 516 kb. System Restore Pro v1.5 Hope this helps.

My computer finds Gameport joystick at Startup only I DON'T HAVE ONE ?

I booted up my computer this morning and up pops this message , "Gameport joystick found". :Q I never installed any new devices and don't even have a Gameport joystick . :confused: So how does my computer come up with such a message? Could my computer be hacked ?

Visioneer OneTouch 8100 Scanner ?

All done .After I installed the driver update and was told to shutdown and restart I got the error message, Onetouchman has caused an error in MFC42.DLL . I installed the patch, rebooted a few times, ran scan disk but I get the MFC42.DLL error message whenever try to do anything with paperport...

The scanner was unlocked (underneath)when I installed everything.The scanner worked one time on another computer that had Windows 98.Then somehow by updating it on the other computer the scanners buttons got stuck on email. Anyway It was no longer working on the other computer so I thought I'd...

Visioneer OneTouch 8100 Scanner ?

I deleted all the Visioneer Paperport , the update, and the patch ,and all registry entries and am starting over again.It took me about 5 hours today to get 80% downloaded then my dang ISP booted me off so I had to start ALL OVER , AGAIN !:| Right now I am downloading the Update and am at 71%...

Visioneer OneTouch 8100 Scanner ?

I downloaded the driver for Windows ME and also the patch that is suppose to give use to your one touch buttons .I cannot do ANYTHING with this scanner .:( . It keeps asking me to unlock the scanner but the scanner is already unlocked.The buttons still don't work and the one button is stuck on...

Visioneer OneTouch 8100 Scanner ?

I'm still trying to download the software. I've been downloading since 10:00 pm and am now at 82% . Then I guess it will take another day to download the patch! I'll post as soon as I get everything downloaded and see what happens.
