ATI x1800xt where are they now?

I have an ATI x1800XT 256MB that I gotten for $220 at the time on newegg. Now I was hoping to get one cheap and they disappeared from every online store. I don't think I want a x1650xt or x1950pro, the ATI x1800XT is faster. Should I pickup one on ebay or get something else for under $200.

Personally owned several Nvidia products more than ATI over the years.. Now the new owner of the ATI x1800xt 256MB and gave my 6800GT over to my wife's PC. I did get a chance to use a 7800GT that I borrowed from a friend who tried to convince me to buy it but I chose ATI this round... Now...

x1800xt Artifacts when in 4X FSAA or HDR mode

I increased the fan speed to 36% from 25% The temps are 62 Celsius so I don't see any issue but I will definitely try the voltage bump.

Is this a good deal? $218 for ATI x1800XT

ATI x1800XT for $218 I bought 2 refurb video cards in the past from newegg and all have been solid. A 6600GT AGP and a 6800GT, both still running fine. Need to upgrade the 6600GT, so I'm thinking of upgrading to a X1800XT for Oblivion. I don't see any 7900GT for the price range..

Have 6800GT, see no reasons to upgrade

Just played DOA4 on 360, amazing visuals

I think the intention of Team Ninja is to reproduce "Anime" looking characters. I think they did a fine job here using "anime" color and design schemes. The plastic-ness of the skin color is intentional.

It is transparent from certain angles. Water images The transparency is harder to see with these images but you can see thru water, I think the creators chose the more anime-ish art.

What is the cheapest way to go about using my LCD monitor for consoles?

7800GTX 512 in SLI > XBox 360?

You will get 720p but not 1080i. I had a 1905FP, it is not a great LCD for gaming, latency is too high for games, my eyes were hurting badly. Try the 2005FP or 2405FP, they are fast and wide screen is great.

7800GTX 512 in SLI > XBox 360?

Xbox 360 games all can do 720p minimum, with most games support 1080i, 480p is the lowest supported res. COD2 at 1080i on a 42" Plasma actually looks very nice, the texture quality is slightly lower than the PC but not noticeable at all.

Untrue. The 360 comes with regular RCA cables which works with virtually every regular TV set. Most 360 games supports 720p which can be played on $300 progressive scan TV. Nobody says you have to buy a HDTV.
